Safety Guidelines

COVID-19 has affected us all in one way or another and our day-to-day life has been forever changed, but one thing you can be certain of, our commitment to your dental health, well-being and your safety has not. Infection control by sterilization, and disinfection have always been of paramount importance for our practice, and we would now like to inform you about the procedures that will change due to COVID-19, in order to keep both our patients and staff safe. Prestige Dental is following the infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We do this to ensure our infection control procedures meet or exceed these agencies’ recommendations.

Prestige Dental has made the following changes to protect our patients and staff to the best of our ability.
Our office will communicate with you beforehand when confirming your scheduled appointment with some screening questions, this may apply upon arrival to the office as well. When entering our office, please wear a mask. If you do not have one, we will provide it to you. We are now equipped with a HEPA filter system and providing hand-sanitizing spray to patients following their appointment. We also will be taking temperatures. Please note, this will apply to our staff every morning when entering the office.
Please be considerate by waiting in your vehicle and/or outside upon arrival, and please give us a call at 267-202-0083 to let us know you have arrived. An assistant will inform you when a lab is ready. Parents and guardians of children over 18 are kindly asked to remain in their vehicle and/or outside the practice until your child is brought back out. One of our staff will contact you as soon as their appointment is complete.
Please limit visits to only patients of the office. The less unnecessary direct person to person contact, the better. For our very young or special needs patients, one parent or guardian is allowed to accompany the patient. No siblings are allowed to enter the office unless they, too, have an appointment on the same day, close in time.
We recommend that you fill out a Patient Screening Form and fax it to us, or bring it with you before you arrive for your next appointment.
Appointments will be managed and scheduled to allow social distancing between patients. With this being said, unfortunately, that might mean fewer appointment options will be offered when scheduling.
We will accommodate each and every one of you as best as we can. This may also cause a longer wait time for being seen by our staff. We ask to please schedule all appointments with a window period flexible to avoid any conflicts elsewhere.
Most importantly, for the well being of others entering our office, as well as our staff, we ask that if you are feeling sick, or anyone in the family is sick, please call the office before your appointment to reschedule to a later date.
We ask that you please have patience with us as we are taking new routes into navigating a different way of practicing and are doing our best to ensure everyone’s safety. We look forward to seeing you soon and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep every patient and staff safe in our practice. Thank you for your trust and loyalty to our practice.
